In the beginning I was hesitant about hiring a Confinement nanny since we thought it shouldn't be that hard. My husband is off for 2 months and we can take care of the baby ourselves, however because I had a C section it was so hard and painful for me move. Seeing my husband doing a lot of the work and even though I want to help, I can only do minimal because of my C section pain. We also had a lack of experience when it comes to newborns. The lack of sleep was really weighing down on my health, sanity, and relationship. This is money well spent! There is a huge learning curve when it comes to caring for newborns and really takes a village and a nanny with years of experience to show you the ropes.
Our nanny takes care of the baby 24/7 and also cleans my pump which saves me so much time. We have Chinese vender that delivers postpartum food for us so she helps me warm it up during meal times. I wanted to recover ASAP in a month so I can care for our baby. If I can't recover and rest well, how can I help take care of baby.
Stephanie has been super helpful. I went back and forth with her about hiring one since I was so unsure and thought we could take care of it ourselves. She was super patient with me. I felt so bad going back and forth with her. She was able to find me a nanny super fast! We didn't like the first interview with the nanny so she found another one and did an interview right away! She also followed up with me days after to see how I was doing.
I'm so glad that I went with hiring a nanny with My asian nanny. It saved my sanity and my health.
