As a quick overall for Akim - she was everything I'd hoped for and more. Absolutely nursed me back to health after my recovery with her knowledge of safe foods that specifically helped w postpartum recovery and milk production. Helped me with breastfeeding is an understatement. I was given impossible goals from my pediatrician and Akim helped me pass every test. (We had a baby that was losing weight quickly that needed to gain weight out of the threshold or be put on formula). She also created trust immediately within my family unit and we all appreciated everything she taught us in the 26 days we had her regarding how to sleep train, change diapers, give baths, take care of and have time for myself. The food she cooked was healthy and delicious and helped me with my milk supply. Absolutely worth every penny I spent on the service to have someone essentially custom build a schedule and routine that works for you and your baby - as long as you know what your goals are. AND I would hire Akim again. She had a cross section of skills I wouldn't be able to find in most nannies including - being young enough to withstand the grueling nights/nighttime routines including carrying baby around up and down stairs YET experienced enough to have knowledge of everything under the sun that you would have questions about. Her expertise exceeds those in her age group because she also has 3 children of her own and experienced a plethora of things she's had to navigate alone. This gave her great empathy in caring for postpartum mothers and their babies. She talks about my child as if he were her own and I'm happy that he's had such a huge advocate so early in life. Having spoken to some of her children over the phone - they are well adjusted and love their mother and this really helped to solidify for me that the techniques she used built an everlasting foundation for well adjusted children. I assure you her responses to questions kept me from multiple anxiety attacks or going down a google/reddit rabbit hole. I STILL keep in contact with her - that's how much she became part of our family and how much we respect her.

I’m about halfway through my confinement period and am absolutely loving the care from my nanny Diana. A friend referred me to this agency although she had never actually used it so I was a bit skeptical. We had been looking for a helper for my aging parents for quite a while and tried a few helpers through care.com. They were fine for short term but when they finally needed someone for live-in the cost was not feasible. I completed the application online for MAN and they do charge a $50 fee to start. After a couple days I didn't hear back so I called them with our needs. Within a couple days they lined up 7 possible candidates which we FaceTimed with. We narrowed down to 3 and interviewed again and finally selected one. They charge a hefty fee but overall the daily rate is much more reasonable than other agencies. Stephanie and Diane were easy to work with and communicated well. The Mandarin speaking live-in helper has been great and makes delicious food. We are very happy and would recommend MAN to anyone looking for an asian helper.

Even before she arrived, I sent her a video of my baby crying and she immediately and correctly assessed that our baby had jaundice. Based on her advice, we booked an emergency pediatrician appointment and were admitted to the NICU for phototherapy. She supported us through the entire process. I had several health complications after my unplanned C-section birth. Jenny took care of me and made sure that I was able to fulfill my breastfeeding goals despite all my health issues. She cooked nutritious meals and made sure that I got plenty of rest so that my body was strong enough to breastfeed. Jenny is extremely experienced, empathetic, friendly, and fun to be around. I trusted her because of her nursing experience in Taiwan and because of her first hand experience caring for many other babies. She taught us everything we know about how to care for a newborn -- invaluable advice and tricks that no amount of book reading or tiktoks can provide. Even after she left, she always answers my questions via calls and messages. She even checks in on my little one and video calls with him. The best money we ever spent as new parents. For any new parents I highly recommend this service. Fannie our nanny was great in helping me and wife get into the routine of of being new parents. In the first 2 weeks we has several issues and having her around as experienced hand helped out a lot , reduced our anxiety which would have turn to panic as we simply didn't know and lack the experience. I have been using this agency since the birth of my first son in 2016 and I honestly don't know what I would've done if I hadn't found this place. With the help of the agency (Specifically Stephanie), I have met such kind, genuine nannies- people that may not even work for me anymore but still keep in contact with me.

I AM VERY PICKY. I may have trialed over 10 nannies before I found one that I felt was most compatible for me and my family. And throughout the interview and hiring process, Stephanie was always there assisting and advising whenever needed. Not every nanny you interview will be suitable for you and your family but that is why you need to trial them for at least a couple days. And honestly, communication is key. Nannies can't read your mind and no one is perfect. Tell them what you want done. Be straight forward but fair... and always be kind. They are, after all, taking care of your kid(s).

Had a great experience with securing a nanny for a sit month (the first month after my baby was born). I'm American and didn't know what a sit month was until I found my asian nanny services. Anyway I hired one of the nannies and she was AMAZING and I'm really sad to see her go. You can really get a lot across with google translate (as the lovely lady I hired didn't know a lot of English). The nanny and I were in quarantine together and we came to understand each other quite well despite the language barrier. Through My Asian Nanny, we had the best experience with our confinement nurse Wei Wei. It can be hard to decide who will stay in your house for multiple weeks but we feel SO fortunate with our choice. That was a bit of luck on our part because we didn't know too much about our candidates and looking back, I would have asked for more info from the agency but we got lucky anyway. We just went with our instinct on someone who seemed very professional and would do what was needed. We did not hire a confinement nurse for our first baby and although we had a night nurse, the recovery was so hard. So we decided to get a confinement nurse this time. I wasn't looking for someone to be my best friend. I just wanted someone who could help me with my recovery, said she was willing to cook for the family, and had many years of experience. In the end, we got so much more! Wei Wei is a fantastic cook, very hands-on with the baby as expected, but also would give you space as needed. She is very experienced, stays calm, engages when you want and seems to know when she is not needed/required. She is not only a trained confinement nurse, she is personally interested in holistic health and is passionate about cooking and babies. Even when the baby is perfectly fine on his own, I can see her silently checking in with him with a smile. She is always ready to take him and give him a cuddle if needed. I often can hear her speaking to the baby and connecting with him. Of course I imagine this is mostly a job for her but it's one that I truly feel she really enjoys. My in-laws and siblings who have visited have really liked Wei Wei's cooking and find her company very pleasant. We have other staff in the house and she is always kind to them making them a special dish on a whim. She adds personal touches to her dishes (often brings her own ingredients purchased from Taiwan. On her start day she came over she brought persimmons from her garden!). Over the years we have worked with household staff and it's not always a great fit but we have truly felt blessed to have Wei Wei during this crucial time for our family. If you have Wei Wei for your confinement nurse and especially value amazing Taiwanese cooking, consider yourself lucky to have her work with you. We will really miss her.

Stephanie is pretty good but there is one nanny Hu Yue Ying and I think she is quite irresponsible. She has no communication skills with kids so the only thing she does is sitting with them and when my kid went to play with her, she had no facial expression at all. She does not like communication with adults either. We speak mandarin to her but she responds with little words, though she understands the words. It's just very strange.

I hired a live-in postpartum doula from My Asian Nanny for a couple weeks for my twin girls. My doula's name was Lulu and she was absolutely wonderful. She was kind, energetic, loving with the girls and extremely experienced. She gave my husband and I so much knowledge about taking care of newborns. She also cooked great meals for us when she had the time. Her English was pretty good and we were able to communicate very well despite the fact that I don't speak Mandarin. I loved Lulu so much, I wish I could've hired her for many more weeks, but she was booked months in advance! I highly recommend her for your newborns. The rate for twins is higher, so she charged $220/day. The cost is more if you want her to cook traditional Chinese meals (to help the mother heal) for you. It's worth it.

When my girls were 3 months old I hired a wonderful nanny from My Asian Nanny last minute named LaiYu. She was absolutely wonderful too. Positive, energetic, kind and so great with babies. I don't think I'd get any sleep without LaiYu. I'm so grateful to her. Her English wasn't great but we communicated mostly through google translate and it was just fine. I highly recommend her! Her positive energy made my life so much better.

I've also met another doula named Gina from this same agency who was a doula for my sister in law's babies. Gina is also amazing. I would've hired her if she weren't allergic to cats. Anyhow, I'm so glad I met all these wonderful women through this agency.

The only downside I could mention is the in-person interview process was a little stressful. My husband and I interviewed 15 or so women in a couple hours using my sister in law as a translator and it was mostly just fine but kind of exhausting. I learned my lesson the next time and just did phone interviews with a couple women instead. In person interviewing is a always a good idea, but just be prepared with questions and the energy to meet that many candidates.

All in all, I had a great experience with My Asian Nanny and Stephanie the owner.

I've known about this place for quite some time now. I, like many others, were hesitant on finding help through agencies because its human nature for us not to trust anyone other than the ones that were referred to us by someone we trusted.

I've been looking for help for my disabled dad for over 10 years and after going through several referrals (and I mean several) and even through a personal friend, we actually found someone AMAZING for my dad through this agency.

The process is easy: you fill out a short application online and pay an application fee. Afterwards, a person will call you to confirm and ask you what you need with the specific details, such as flexibility, pay, etc. They compile a bunch of potential candidates and then you schedule a day to come in and meet them.

After being able to find someone for my dad, I contacted them again to find a nanny for my 4-month old baby girl. In less than a week, they found 9 candidates and I interviewed each of them one by one. As a first time mom, I was skeptical on the process and assumed I would leave being disappointed. On the contrary, I left feeling real content and hopeful. After a long discussion with Stephanie in person and over the phone, we decided to give 2 a try. If they don't work out, she said that I have 45 days to give the others a go.

For those families looking for an Asian nanny or any help in general should really consider giving this agency a try. I will say though that you need to be open-minded in terms of what you're looking for because those with experience may not come with personalities and those with great personalities might not have the experience. I went with personality based on my instinct-- someone I can get along with and trust. Everything else that comes with the responsibility can be taught and adapted. Either way, your preference and plenty to choose from.

Few things to keep in mind: most of the candidates do not speak or speak minimal English. Most speak Cantonese and/or Mandarin (simple and not traditional Chinese). There's an additional flat fee after you find someone, and the agency takes no responsibility after the 45-day trial. With that said, make sure you ask ALL the right questions when you interview.

Ok can I just say Jenny is such an amazing, patient, caring, hardworking, and sweet caretaker. She took care of our newborn and she really did a great job. She is very kind and loving to children. She helped with a breastfeeding schedule and is so patient with babies. She puts children first. You can truly trust her with your babies. I am so thankful we came across this agency and found Jenny. Stephanie gave us a good amount of options and when we chose Jenny we had no idea how amazing she would be. Jenny is bilingual as well so she was able to communicate everything perfectly!! She even translated for us!! We love her so much!!

We had a good experience using the service to find a full time nanny for our 15 month son. Stephanie was very helpful in finding many candidates for us to interview and review. We had some issues with our first nanny early on when our son was younger but Stephanie worked with us to find a solution. She honored her word to us almost a year later and helped us out tremendously.

When our family needed to have someone help take care of our kids Stephanie came to our rescue! She's able to communicate in English or Chinese and she's responsive to texts and phone calls and has always called me back. She has helped us over the years and really listens to what our requirements, wants and needs are. Even when the first nanny we had didn't work out, she took initiative to follow up and help us find a more suitable nanny for our family. I really appreciated that! The search for a nanny can be a difficult one but she made sure we had options. She will even give her opinion if you ask!

I have used this service to find a nanny to help me care for my children. (3 rambunctious boys!). We loved our nannies and appreciate the work Stephanie put in to help us find the perfect fit. I am thankful a service like this exists and they were able to assist even though I live just outside of the area. Will plan on using and referring to others in the future.

My Asian Nanny offers a great service. I am able to select the type of care or service I need. They then match me up with dozens of potential candidates within days. I've gone there for interviews and they have provided me with 8 candidates to interview consecutively, which is great because you can really get a sense in which ones stand out. The best part is that they recognize the difficulty in selecting the perfect candidate just through interviews. They offer an opportunity to switch caregivers if things do not work out. I have very high standards for the care of my child and they have been patient with us all along the way to help us select the best match. I highly recommend their services.

I have used My Asian Nanny for two nannies. I think it's quite unfair to judge the nannies here but I'd like to give a positive review for Stephanie.

Unlike other agencies, Stephanie really screens the candidates and checks their backgrounds. She spends time getting to know them before she introduces them to her clients. After several bad experiences with previous nannies, Stephanie gave us advice and guidelines on how to select the best ones for our families. I highly suggest My Asian Nanny to any family that is looking for caregivers.

Definitely a good service to take up if you're very limited with time and running out of references for possible Nannies. We saved a lot of time finding the right Nanny because Stephanie was very quick to learn of our needs before setting up an appointment for us to meet and interview candidates. Most of the candidates are local to the area. The quality of candidates had wide range - we felt that some were better for older kids and others were good for our newborn. The best ones get hired quickly. We didn't hire anyone in our first round of interviews, but Stephanie stayed with us and continued to give us more candidates. Overall we are satisfied and definitely recommend to my friends.

Also, there is a 45 day window to change nannies if you aren't happy, which is helpful.

Stephanie is great! She's a mom herself and truly understands the important of finding good care for your babies / children. She works very efficiently and gives really great and sound advice. I initially called her wanting to replace my nanny but she helped me think through ways to make my current situation work and didn't push me to sign up with her and use her service. I took her advice and made my current situation work until I had a second child and needed help. She quickly found 4-5 suitable nanny candidates and we hired one. She made sure to find nannies that matched our needs. In general, she's one of those few people that truly "gets it" and is really looking out for her clients vs trying to make a quick transaction. After I hired a nanny through her, she followed up several times to make sure I was happy with the nanny. I've recommended her to my friends and will absolutely turn to Stephanie again if we ever need to find a new nanny. She's really smart, sharp and has integrity - pretty rare find in her line of work!

I have worked with Stephanie in more than one occasion. Her service has always been quick and the candidates she referred to me are usually pretty high quality. From when I submitted the retainer fee to the actual interview was only less than a week. They don't pressure you into anyone you don't feel comfortable with. They care about their customers and will make sure that their customers are happy and satisfied with their placements. With the high workload that they have, it is impossible not to make mistake at some point, but every time they make it right for me. I have recommended this place to a few of my friends and so far it has worked out well for them as well.
